Single-use nickel alloy urinary stone removal net for endoscopic grasping and removal of stones. Hydrophilic tip, helical coil for stone tapping and quick release, quick-opening hemostasis valve, 2.4–3.0Fr sheath, 8–11mm coil, 1150mm working length.
PURETH nickel alloy urinary system stone removal nets are used for endoscopic grasping and removal of stones and other foreign objects in the urinary system. The device is advanced to the stone, and the helical coil is used to tap and guide the stone into the coil for secure capture and retrieval.
The front-end head is designed with a hydrophilic tip, which becomes lubricious when wet and eases insertion through narrow or tortuous anatomy. The unique coil structure allows stone tapping and capture during the procedure, yet lets the physician quickly release the stone when necessary. A quick-opening hemostasis valve facilitates the sealing and fixation of devices during urinary surgery.
Key Features
- Hydrophilic tip — lubricious front-end head reduces friction and eases insertion.
- Helical coil design — unique structure allows stone tapping and guided capture.
- Quick stone release — open coil allows fast release if repositioning is needed.
- Quick-opening hemostasis valve — facilitates sealing and fixation during surgery.
- Two sheath sizes — 2.4Fr and 3.0Fr for different access anatomy.
- Three coil diameters — 8mm, 10mm and 11mm for varied stone sizes.
- 1150mm working length — suited to ureteroscopic stone procedures.
- Sterile, single use — one patient, one device; no cross-infection, no reprocessing.
FAQ
What is the nickel alloy stone retrieval net used for?
It is used under endoscopy in the urinary system to grasp and remove stones and other foreign objects. The helical coil is advanced to the stone, used to tap and capture it securely, and can be quickly released if the physician needs to reposition or abandon the attempt.
How does the helical coil design work?
The unique coil structure allows the physician to tap the stone, guiding it into the coil for secure capture during the procedure. Unlike a fully enclosed basket, the open helical design allows quick release of the stone whenever necessary, giving the physician an easy exit if the stone becomes impacted or repositioning is required.
What is the benefit of the hydrophilic tip?
The front-end head is designed with a hydrophilic coating, which becomes lubricious when wet. This reduces friction during insertion and advancement through the ureter, easing passage through narrow or tortuous anatomy and improving atraumatic access to the stone.
What sizes are available?
Sheath diameters are 2.4Fr and 3.0Fr, coil diameters are 8mm, 10mm and 11mm, and all models have an effective working length of 1150mm. Six models combine the two sheath sizes with the three coil diameters. Smaller coils suit smaller stones and narrower anatomy.
Is the net single use, and what documents are available?
Yes, it is a single-use device for one patient only, eliminating cross-infection and reprocessing. PURETH products are manufactured under an ISO 13485 quality management system; export documents, free sale certificates and market certificates (such as CE) are provided or confirmed at the order stage. Please send your destination country and model list.
All models have an effective working length of 1150mm. Two sheath diameters (2.4Fr / 3.0Fr) combined with three coil diameters (8 / 10 / 11mm).
| Model | Sheath Diameter D1 | Coil Diameter D2 | Effective Working Length |

Code structure: ZYM-SC – stone coil · next two digits = sheath diameter (Fr×10) · following digits = coil diameter (mm) and effective working length (mm, abbreviated 08115 = 8mm coil × 1150mm length).
Application Scenarios
Nickel alloy stone retrieval nets for urinary endoscopy procedures.
Ureteral Stone Retrieval
Grasping and removal of ureteral stones under ureteroscopy. Helical coil taps and captures the stone for retrieval.
Kidney Stone Removal
Capture and removal of renal stones and fragments. 8–11mm coil diameters suit a range of stone sizes.
Foreign Object Removal
Endoscopic grasping and removal of foreign objects in the urinary system using the helical coil.
Narrow / Tortuous Anatomy
Hydrophilic tip eases insertion and reduces friction through narrow or tortuous ureteral anatomy.
Impacted Stone Release
Open coil design allows quick stone release if the stone becomes impacted or repositioning is required.
Hemostasis Valve Access
Quick-opening hemostasis valve facilitates sealing and fixation of guide wires and devices during surgery.
