PURETH disposable hemoclips are used through an endoscope for mechanical hemostasis of gastrointestinal bleeding and for clipping mucosal wounds, perforations and defects after polypectomy, EMR or ESD. The two-prong metallic clip grasps and approximates the tissue, is then released from the delivery system and left in place; it is later shed spontaneously and passed naturally. The device is entirely mechanical and uses no electrosurgical current.

The clip and sheath rotate synchronously through 360° to align accurately with the lesion, and the clip can be opened and closed repeatedly for convenient positioning and to avoid misoperation before final deployment. A three-ring / slider handle gives controlled actuation. Six standard models offer 9, 12 or 14mm clip openings at 1800mm (gastrointestinal endoscopy) and 2300mm (colonoscopy).

Key Features

  • Mechanical hemostasis — the two-prong clip compresses bleeding vessels and wound edges without cautery, then detaches and stays anchored.
  • 360° synchronous rotation — clip and sheath rotate together to align precisely with lesions in difficult orientations.
  • Repeatable open / close — re-open and re-grip as many times as needed for accurate positioning, avoiding misoperation before release.
  • Three clip openings — 9, 12 and 14mm to match small vessels, broad ulcers and post-resection defects.
  • Full GI reach — 1800mm for upper/lower GI endoscopy and 2300mm for colonoscopy.
  • Controlled handle — ergonomic three-ring slider handle with a smooth, confident deploy-and-release action.
  • EO sterile, single use — individually packaged; no reprocessing, no cross-infection.

FAQ

What is a disposable hemoclip used for?

It is used through an endoscope to stop gastrointestinal bleeding mechanically and to clip mucosal wounds, perforations and defects after polypectomy, EMR or ESD. The clip grasps and approximates the tissue, is released and remains in place, and is later shed and passed naturally. It is a mechanical device and uses no electrosurgical current.

Can the clip be rotated and repositioned before deployment?

Yes. The clip and sheath rotate synchronously through 360 degrees to align accurately with the lesion, and the clip can be opened and closed repeatedly for convenient positioning and to avoid misoperation; it is detached from the handle only when placement is confirmed.

What clip openings, lengths and models are available?

Clip opening is 9, 12 or 14mm. Working length is 1800mm for gastrointestinal endoscopy and 2300mm for colonoscopy, giving six standard ZYM-JZ models — three openings at each length. See the specification table.

How does the hemoclip achieve hemostasis and how long does it stay?

The two-prong clip mechanically compresses the bleeding vessel or wound edges together, achieving hemostasis by physical apposition without cautery. After deployment the clip remains anchored to the mucosa and is typically shed spontaneously within days to weeks and passed through the GI tract; in-situ duration varies with the site and tissue.

What certifications and export documents are available?

PURETH products are manufactured in accordance with the ISO 13485 quality management system and hold Class II registrations for the domestic market from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China. Export documents, free sale certificates, and specific market certificates (such as CE) will be provided or confirmed during the order phase; please inform us of your destination country and model list.

Applications

Endoscopic mechanical hemostasis and wound clipping throughout the GI tract — bleeding control and defect closure across upper and lower endoscopy.

HEMOSTASIS

GI Bleeding Control

Mechanically compress peptic-ulcer, post-procedural and mucosal bleeding vessels; the 9/12/14mm openings suit small vessels to broad bleeding surfaces.

DEFECT CLOSURE

Wound & Perforation Clipping

Approximate mucosal wounds, perforations and post-polypectomy/EMR/ESD defects; repeatable open/close and 360° rotation allow accurate edge apposition before release.

COLONOSCOPY

Lower-GI Procedures

The 2300mm models reach the colon for hemostasis and post-resection closure; the 1800mm models cover gastroscopy and general gastrointestinal endoscopy.
