PURETH disposable dilation balloon catheters are used for dilation in narrow areas of the digestive and respiratory tracts — including esophageal, pyloric, intestinal, tracheal, bronchial, biliary and cardiac strictures. The balloon is advanced into the stricture over a guide wire, inflated to its rated working pressure to widen the lumen, then deflated and removed in a single controlled cycle.
The capsule body is made from high-pressure-resistant non-compliant material that maintains its cylindrical shape at the rated pressure without over-expanding or deforming. The transparent, non-deformable body lets the physician clearly observe the expansion effect under fluoroscopy or endoscopy, providing confident, reproducible dilation every time.
